 With having a little heat now we have went back to our drainage on the Craighead course that was carried out in November to deep verti-drain the area then seed and top up the drainage lines with sand

 Our plans worked out great to cut all tees on both courses cut/divoted then fertilised before the rain this weekend
 Same with the 2 new tees on the Balcomie course we made sure to get them top-dressed before the rain
 All our newly painted tee posts with new plaques for the Balcomie course getting finished off ready to go out for the weekend
 We have replaced our old fence at the rear of the 17th green on the Balcomie course with posts that are made the same as all the tee furniture design so it's more fitting with everything

 This week it was the Balcomie course greens and surrounds turn to be turf ironed, top-dressed, rubbed in and the first application of wetting agent applied

 One of the last winter jobs is to screen sand and top-up bunkers that have been rebuilt and any other bunkers requiring sand before being put back into play over both the courses
Our new back tee on hole 2 of the Balcomie course had its first cut ready for some heavy top-dressings

 This week main jobs were to solid tine, cut, hand weed, top-dress greens and surrounds then spray iron on the Craighead course and as you can see it's nearly time for our spring feed to go on to kick start them for the season

One of our last winter jobs is to complete a tee path which will be used for maintenance machinery as well, at hole 18 on the Balcomie course. Other jobs this week is to spray fairways with soluble iron and the usual course set up each day

 It's the Captain v Vice Captain match today marking the start of the season, so this week was making sure all areas were cut and everything tidied up, all the G.U.R bunkers shaped, raked and put back in play for today
We have also replaced our flags, pins and hole cups this season

The staff have been busy continuing with edging/weeding tee paths on the Craighead course

With the high winds due today we have been out trying to soak the sand in the railway sleeper bunker etc to help reduce sand blow

 A little snow and frost on Tuesday morning
 The 2 newly built green side bunkers at hole 11 on the Craighead course have now been topped up with sand ready for the season

 This week our main job was to edge/weed and top up the tee paths on the Balcomie course
 Grass starting to grow through our matting already
All the Balcomie course fairways, greens and surrounds have had an application of iron. Another job was to replace all the driving range balls
